In the 1993 reissue, Boffi updated the structure using 12 mm-thick white Corian®, a material with the same advantages as a stone countertop: heat-resistant, impervious to direct sunlight, and with a color that remains unchanged over time. Since 2007, the Minikitchen has also been produced in marine plywood, an outdoor version designed for open spaces. In 2024, for Boffi's 90th anniversary, the self-supporting structure was revisited. The lightweight and moisture-resistant marine plywood panel is now coated with Lasermat and comes in new colors: London Grey, Comodoro Green, Fes Blue, and Jaipur Red.
