Antibes System is a flexible design ecosystem for all home environments designed by Piero Lissoni to respond to evolving needs of contemporary spaces: homes that change function, furniture that must dialogue with diverse architectures, storage containers that cannot be restrictive boxes.
Antibes System Variations
1. Antibes New Storage Unit for Living/Dining Room
The display piece is this version: self-supporting or wall-mounted storage unit for living room, dining room, dining area. It's built with Hinged doors (push-to-open) or sliding/sliding doors. Doors are available in wood or with metal frame that can be lined with glass, fabric, leather and wood in various finishes.
2. Antibes Library System
This modular system allows you to create libraries without back panel, suitable for walls and as central room elements. Minimalist aesthetics Antibes System offers a wide range of compositional possibilities, thanks to the variety of side panel heights and the multiple shelf and base widths. The system's evolution now includes the integration of TV compartments, desks, drawer units and containers with flip-up doors, providing innovative solutions for every space and style need. The main structure is in high-quality wood, with refined finishes that adapt to any environment. Horizontal LED lighting integrated in the shelves dimmable 2700K. Configurable vertically and horizontally, perfect as a center room divider or wall boiserie.
3. Antibes Wardrobe and Walk-in Closet
The Wardrobe with hinged, sliding, or sliding doors is built with side panels in laminate or frame with glass/leather. Self-supporting two-sided walk-in closet with central island drawer unit, shoe shelves, hanging rods, pull-out trays, sneaker shelves. Specialized internal equipment: pull-out trousers drawers, belt holders, tie holders, shelves in regenerated leather or microfiber. Antibes transforms the bedroom with every detail designed to respond to individual tastes and needs. Making the Antibes concept even more complete are design solutions integrated with the bathroom and with door and partition wall systems.
4. Antibes Boiserie
Antibes Boiserie is a modular system for walk-in closets without visible side panels. The structure consists of slotted uprights in anodized aluminium onto which elements are inserted into the structure like backings, bases, shelves, suspended drawer units. Internal multifunctional accessories for drawers are available in black wood and in velvety microfiber colour tortora. Shelves can also be made as aluminium frames with glass top. Numerous accessories available including pull-out trousers holders and hanging rods plus LED lighting.
Completing the wall system, island drawer units are available single or double-sided, also on metal tube base; drawers, with push-open, can have various finishes, including mirror coating, and be integrated with open compartments with pull-out trays. It's possible to connect the Antibes boiserie composition to Antibes wardrobes.
5. Antibes K – Kitchen System
Antibes K is the system of open columns attrezzabili in modern kitchen design. This system, continuously enriched combining aesthetics and practicality. The Antibes K system for even more efficient space management is equipped with wine racks combinable with glass holders, utensil holder and drawer units all made with a careful selection of materials such as glass, marble, and wood, offering a storage solution that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The design is distinguished by its black aluminium finish frame that holds the support slats in olive ash stained black, creating a visual contrast that captures attention and enhances any environment.

LED Backlit Back Panel
24V LED panel 20 mm thickness with non-visible aluminium frame. Optics developed for uniform light diffusion. Wireless remote control with dimmer + colour temperature selection (3000K warm / 4000K neutral). Power consumption: 11 W/m. CRI 80.
Shelf Lighting

Q1: What's the difference between Antibes System and other modular libraries?
Antibes System is a design philosophy, not a standardized product. Antibes integrates diverse functional universes (living, wardrobe, closet, boiserie, kitchen) while maintaining the same formal DNA. Regular/Frame/Handframe doors, structural aluminium frame not decorative, LED as architectural design, compatibility with luxury materials (leather, fabric). Other libraries solve storage, Antibes transforms the container into an architectural installation.
Q2: Can I customize the Antibes New display piece or is it fixed?
The display unit cannot be modified, it has dimensions L 242 cm, H 204 cm, D 43 cm Ecowood wood structure, 4 bronze colour aluminium doors Handframe with integrated handle and extralight glass with 8 shelves, LED lighting + remote control. But our consultants can help you understand if this configuration works for your space or if you need a different composition. Q3: Does the LED backlit panel consume a lot of electricity?
No, 24V LED very low consumption. LED backlit panel: 11 W/m (equivalent to a traditional light bulb). Dimmable with wireless remote. You can choose 3 temperatures: 2700K warm evening, 3000K neutral work, 4000K cool reading. Estimated annual consumption: if left on 8 hours/day every day → about €8-10/year. Turn it on at dusk to transform the system into a scenographic nighttime lighting installation.
