Where to Place the Clio Armchair
With a width of 66 cm, Clio takes up little space at the front and can be used individually or in pairs: on the sides of a sofa, in front of a bookcase, in a reading corner, or at the foot of the bed. The deep and backward-sloping seat makes it an armchair to stay in, rather than just a transitional seat, perfect for a long conversation or reading a book. The brushed black oak frame serves as a sober border for the upholstery and fits well in both contemporary and more classic environments. Its intended use is domestic and collective, so it also works perfectly in a lounge or an elegant waiting room.
Antonio Citterio
Antonio Citterio, architect and designer, two-time winner of the Compasso d'Oro, designed Clio in 2004. He coordinates the Maxalto collections with special attention to the excellence of woodworking, and his furniture is designed to blend harmoniously into contemporary settings.
