The collection was born in 2004 from the vision of Marcel Wanders, co-founder of the Droog Design movement and creative director of Moooi. His approach unites creative design with poetry, craftsmanship and industrial technology. This philosophy translates into products that belong to no single category: they are not "just" stools, nor "just" side tables. In residential spaces they become informal seats around the Container Table or surfaces beside the sofa; in contract environments they form flexible, reconfigurable groups; outdoors they withstand the elements, cold and heat alike.
Weatherproof: Resistance to the Elements
Made in polyethylene (PE), the Container Stool resists UV rays, humidity, temperature ranges from −40°C to +80°C, salt water and chlorine. It does not degrade, does not fade and requires no maintenance beyond a wipe with a damp cloth. Leave it in the garden all year round or move it from the living room to the terrace with the seasons.
