Wigmore Shelving System, a bookshelf designed by Piero Lissoni, is inspired by the De Padova 606 bookshelf and echoes its industrial design, characterized by the use of metal, minimalist and essential lines, and highly practical shelves for functional use and a discreet style. The Wigmore bookshelf features vertical uprights made from extruded anodized aluminum. Thanks to its modularity, it can be freely arranged in any setting: living room, office, entryway—anywhere there is space. The uprights allow both floor-to-ceiling and wall-mounted installation, and the structure can hold shelves or drawer units, offering maximum compositional and functional flexibility.
The Wigmore bookshelf is a versatile furniture system. At home, it serves as a bookshelf and storage unit, providing space for books, objects, CDs, and DVDs, all neatly organized on the shelves or inside the drawers. In the office, it functions as an archive or display unit, helping keep objects and accessories in order. Its essential and discreet style, combined with the practical modular system, makes it suitable for various situations. The slotted rail system supports the uprights, which can be fitted with shelves and drawers.
