The Maxalto Kalos armchair, designed by Antonio Citterio, is born from the reinterpretation of the classic bergère chair, with the seat's forms redesigned in a contemporary key. Kalos is a high-backed armchair with armrests connected to the backrest, featuring a soft and fluid design that reveals a sinuous line adaptable to any household environment: from the living room to the study, bedroom, and entrance hall. There is a wide selection of fabrics, ranging from lighter shades to warmer tones, also available in leather. The fabric version is fully removable, and the upholstery can be stretched or crafted into a loose cover that conceals the feet or the swivel base. Completing the seat are a headrest and a rectangular footstool available in various dimensions and heights. Both the headrest and footstool are optional accessories upon request. The armchair features an internal frame made of tubular and steel profiles, with the internal frame padding crafted from flexible cold foam Bayfit® (Bayer®).
