ADL Mitica: Eight Opening Types
The Mitica collection stands out for its absolute versatility: 8 different opening systems, all sharing the same ultra-thin aluminum profile and the Made in Italy manufacturing quality of ADL, a Boffi | De Padova brand.
Sliding and Sliding with Dragging
The guide is installed inside the frame for easy assembly and silent movement. The dragging version allows for complete panel overlap, eliminating any visual interruption. An optional anti-sway system is available.
Roto-translating
Technology for wider passages: panels rotate on their axis and translate laterally without a floor track. Perfectly flush closure and over 90% free opening space.
Accordion (Folding)
The door can be equipped with double tracks — one recessed into the ceiling and a second, optional, on the floor — for opening two or three pairs of panels. The integrated or recessed handle ensures smooth sliding of the package. Ideal for saving space in technical passages.
Pivot
Hinge integrated into the profile, opening in both directions with automatic stop and 90° hold. No structural preparation required — maximum formal cleanliness.
Swing, Inside Wall, and Fixed
- Swing: Flush aluminum jamb, inside wall or outside wall. Internal or external pivot hinge to regulate the degree of opening.
- Inside Wall: Compatible with various types of pocket frames, available in single or double panel configurations.
- Fixed between walls: Separates two environments while maintaining visual continuity and light, without a traditional door — ideal for corridors and filter zones.
