After interesting work experiences first with Guy Paulin and then with Jean Patou, Christian Lacroix decides in 1987 that the right time has come to give life to his Christian Lacroix maison: the Pret-a-porter clothing line is made in Italy, precisely to Ancona. In his beautiful models the stylist is inspired by the traditions of southern France and Provence.
