Lovorika Banovic is a Danish designer born in Sarajevo BiH 1967. Graduated from the Danish Design School, now The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - The School of Design in 1996. Lives and works in Copenhagen. Member of the Danish Design Association and Cabinet Makers Autumn Exhibition, which is under the protection of HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark. Winner of several Design Awards including Red dot, LICC, Good Design Award, if, and German Design Award.

Significant for his work is the diversity of his missions in many categories of design from experimental objects and lighting furniture and home accessories. With sensitivity in the comparison of the material and the forms, his work is characterized by originality in projects of everyday objects at affordable prices, or the creation of sophisticated One-offs, an example of a project for daily use is the valet stand Garderobier for De Padova.
His designs aim to surprise with subtle humor and the same measure of tradition and contradiction. He has collaborated with various brands including Menu, Kvist, PP Møbler, Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Erik Jørgensen Møbelfabrik, ma / U Studio, De Padova
and many others.
Some of his works have been exhibited at the ASI Art Museum in Reykjavik, London Design Festival, Maison du Danemark Paris, Design Museum Denmark, the Chicago Athenaeum, Trapholt-Museum of Modern Art, applied art, design and design furniture, Ordrupgaard Museum , SaloneSatellite Milano, Red Dot Design Museum Essen, Tokyo Design Center, Riga, Helsinki.
