Palomba Serafini Associati is an architecture and design studio founded by Ludovica Serafini (Rome, 1961) and Roberto Palomba (Cagliari, 1963) Italian architects and designers. Following the degree in Architecture from the La Sapienza University of Rome, in 1994 they founded the Ps + studio at Palomba Serafini Associati, which is based in Milan. Roberto Palomba was also a professor of Industrial Design at the Milan Polytechnic.


They have received numerous international awards and recognitions including ADI Compasso d'Oro in 2011 for the Lab 03 washbasin in Kos, Elle Decoration International Design Award, Design Plus, Good Design Award, Red Dot, German Design Award. In 2010 some of their products were exhibited during the exhibition What things we are, curated by Alessandro Mendini at the Triennale Design Museum of the Triennale di Milano. In addition, some of their designs were exhibited during the exhibition The sign of the designers, curated by Gianni Veneziano, at the Triennale Design Museum. The Corina Chair will be born from this company with numerous companies including Benetti Yachts Boffi, Driade, Kartell, KitchenAid, Kos, Sawaya & Moroni, Samsung, Zanotta. Starting from 2012 Roberto Palomba writes articles for the Huffington Post. In 2013 Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba participated in the Be Original Week, an event organized by Elle Decor Italia against the counterfeiting of design products. In 2014 the two designers took care of the redevelopment of a 17th century oil mill in Sogliano Cavour, in the province of Lecce.
