The M16 Chair with armrests by De Padova, created by designer Patrick Norguet, is a seat with an essential and contemporary design, characterized by clean lines and a geometric structure, a modern reinterpretation of the classic "Chiavarina" chair created in 1807 by the Chiavari cabinetmaker, Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi. The M16 chair is an icon for home furnishings suitable for various environments, from the kitchen to the dining room or in the living room next to the table, but it can also be stylishly placed in contract spaces. Its versatility is given by the combination of its light structure and the variety of finishes available.
The M16 chair is made with a seat in three versions:
- 1) In straw with natural rush bark reinforced with polyester fabric, which supports the play with memory,
- 2) In molded birch plywood veneered in ash and stained with aniline bleached or black,
- 3) With polyurethane padding covered in fabric or leather.
The M16 chair by De Padova has a solid ash wood frame stained with aniline bleached or black, finished with transparent water-based or solvent-based paint.
