Where It Works Best
The floor version works well wherever an atmospheric light with a precise vertical presence is needed: beside a low sofa, in a conversation corner, next to wall panelling, or in an entrance hall that needs depth. The ribbed glass filters the light and softens it, while the satin bronze avoids the overly cold technical effect.
Atmospheric Light but Adjustable
One of the most compelling features of the Cut Back collection is that in the floor and wall versions you can control the light with the metal touch dimmer and adjust each light source independently according to the actual use of the space. This means moving from a softer light for the evening to a more assertive output for reading, circulation, or welcoming guests, without changing the fixture and without adding more lamps.
The outlet advantage of the floor version:

FAQ – De Padova Cut Back
Versions, dimmer, installation, and use: everything you need before deciding.
Is the light purely decorative or can it be adjusted?
In the floor version the metal touch dimmer is included on each element and allows independent adjustment of every light source. In the wall version the integrated metal touch dimmer controls both light sources simultaneously with synchronised dimming. The lamp can therefore shift from a soft ambient mood to a more functional output depending on how the space is being used.
Is it suited only to living rooms or to other spaces as well?
The floor and wall versions work well in living rooms, entrance halls, reading corners, and contract spaces such as lounges or hotel lobbies — precisely because they combine atmospheric lighting with an architectural presence without occupying too much visual volume.
What is the difference between the floor, wall, and pendant versions?
The main difference lies in how the lamp integrates into the space: the floor version is self-standing and mobile, the wall version works as an installed vertical accent, while the pendant brings the luminous triptych from above via a ceiling rose with integrated dimmer.
