Compact in dimensions, Cuna proudly leaves its structural frame visible—a construction choice that emphasizes the soft, rounded lines of the basin. Patricia Urquiola: From Politecnico di Milano to Her Own Studio

Patricia Urquiola studied architecture and design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the Politecnico di Milano, where she graduated under the mentorship of Achille Castiglioni. In Spain, she was awarded the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts and the Order of Isabella the Catholic.
