AISI 316 stainless steel surpasses all alternatives for intensive outdoor use. Aluminum: lightweight but less rigid, tends to warp under load. Painted steel: paint chips, corrosion starts underneath. Solid wood for kitchen: visually beautiful, but requires obsessive maintenance (sanding, treatments, oil every season). AISI 316: clean it, done. It literally lasts decades without aesthetic degradation.
Q2: The solid wood snack table – how does it hold up outdoors with rain/sun?
Outdoor solid wood (Iroko, olive ash, Canaletto walnut) is a tropical wood naturally resistant or specifically seasoned for outdoor use. Maintenance: each spring, treat with specific outdoor oil (apply, let dry, done). This maintains protection and colour – the wood ages beautifully, acquiring silver/grey patina that tells the story of time passed.
Q3: How much space do I need to install Open in my garden?
