B&B Italia outdoor has been present in outdoor furniture for over 15 years, an important achievement which is the backdrop to the video which pays homage to this achievement. B&B Italia outdoor was founded and produces outdoor furniture in 2007, Patricia Urquiola designed the Canasta collection, composed of chairs, armchairs, sofas and coffee tables, with an intertwined design, up to the present day, the Borea collection by Piero Lissoni inspired to airplanes, made up of seats, loungers, tables and coffee tables. Since the beginning of its history, B&B Italia has worked hard to create outdoor furniture products and collections made up of exceptional products, outdoor furniture designed by the most prestigious international designers.

The “Canasta” collection by Patricia Urquiola presents a design based on a macro weave of polyethylene, it was the first foray into outdoor furniture for B&B Italia, a story that continued successfully giving life to collections in collaboration with some of today's most celebrated furniture designers.
In 15 years of outdoor production, B&B Italia has presented 40 collections by 13 designers, who have worked closely with the B&B Italia Research & Development Centre, innovating and experimenting.
Many designers who contributed, Naoto Fukasawa who brought the minimal and refined style, Antonio Citterio with his classic garden chairs, Patricia Urquiola who used weaving as an expressive form, Barber Osgerby with an outdoor version of the famous table sofa "Tobi-Ishi", Philippe Starck brought innovation with the sofa "Oh, it rains!" which folds to protect the seat from the elements. In 2021 the "Borea" collection by Piero Lissoni was born, inspired by airplanes, together with the Husk seats, the Borea collection marked an important step towards sustainability for B&B Italia, using materials such as aluminum and upholstery fabrics made with polyester fiber obtained from recycled PET plastic bottles

The Borea lounge bed has a balanced and delicate design, an oval shape that gives a unique character to the series, available in two versions: a chaise longue and a sofa, a round section aluminum structure, available in white, dove gray and clay finishes . The B&B Italia Outdoor sunbed is equipped with a reclining backrest which gives it multiple purposes, it can accommodate one or two people.
